By Train: Not applicable. Nearest is Kochi (ERS), followed by the passenger ship to Kavaratti.
By Road: Not applicable for island access. On the island, the eastern shore is accessible by the main peripheral road. The most convenient transport is an auto-rickshaw or a hired taxi from the main settlement area near the lagoon.
By Local Transport: An auto-rickshaw ride is the most common way to cross the island to the eastern side, as the memorial is a few kilometers from the main population center. Bicycles are a good option for a scenic ride.
