Phuktal Monastery
Phuktal Monastery, also known as Phuktal Gompa, is a beautiful and unique monastery located in a natural cave in the remote Zanskar Valley. The monastery is a Gelugpa sect monastery and is one of the most isolated monasteries in Ladakh. It is a stunning architectural marvel, with the monastery's bui ldings built right into the mouth of the cave.
