Rih Dil is approximately 1 km long and 70 meters wide, with a circumference of about 3 miles. A unique feature of the lake is that it has no external inflow or outflow of water, yet it remains constantly clear, a phenomenon that has inspired numerous folk tales. While the lake's religious importance has waned slightly with the advent of Christianity in the region, it remains a powerful symbol of Mizo identity and a popular tourist destination.
