How To Reach Adiannamalai Lake
How to Reach
By Train: Tiruvannamalai Railway Station (TNM) is well-connected to major cities like Chennai, Tirupati, and Bengaluru. From the station, the lake is a short 15-20 minute drive by auto-rickshaw or taxi.
By Road: Tiruvannamalai is on the National Highway network. Excellent state and private buses connect the city to all parts of Tamil Nadu and neighboring states. Once in Tiruvannamalai, the lake is located on the Girivalam path, easily accessible by a local taxi or auto-rickshaw, typically a 5-10 minute ride from the main temple.
By Local Transport: The best way to reach the lake from the city center is by hiring an auto-rickshaw, which is the most convenient local transport. Many pilgrims visit it on foot as part of the Girivalam walk.
