How to Reach

By Air (Via Kochi):

Travel to the nearest airport, Agatti (Code: AGX), from Kochi (Kerala). The time taken is approximately 1. 5 hours flying time. The total journey time from the mainland will depend heavily on the availability of inter-island transport.

By Local Ship/Boat: The most reliable way to reach Chetlat from Agatti or other northern islands is via the regular passenger ship service managed by the Lakshadweep Administration. The sea journey can take between 4 to 8 hours depending on the departure point and weather.

By Sea (Mainland Ship Cruise): Cruise ships, often part of the Samudram package, travel from Kochi (Mainland Kerala) and stop at various islands, including Chetlat. The entire voyage from Kochi can take over 18 hours. Ships anchor far from the island, and a local mechanized boat provides the necessary last-mile transfer to the main jetty.

By Local Transport on Island: The mosque is in the island's center, about 200 meters from the main jetty. Upon arrival at the jetty, the mosque is easily accessible by a short walk through the village lanes. No motorized local transport is needed.
