How To Reach Harsiddhi Temple

Harsiddhi Temple is one of the most revered Shaktipeeths in India, where it is believed that the elbow of Goddess Sati fell. Located near the peaceful Shipra River, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Harsiddhi, a form of Durga. The temple holds a unique position in Ujjain’s spiritual landscape, as it was the favorite place of worship for the legendary King Vikramaditya. The central idol is painted in a striking vermilion color and is flanked by the idols of Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati. How to Reach

By Air: Fly to Indore and take a taxi. The 60-minute drive is smooth. Once in Ujjain, the temple is easily accessible via the main city roads.

By Train: From Ujjain Junction, take an auto-rickshaw (approx. 10-15 mins). The temple is well-known to all local drivers, and the fare is usually quite reasonable.

By Road: Regular buses from Indore, Bhopal, and Ahmedabad stop at Ujjain. From the bus stand, the temple is just a short e-rickshaw ride away through the historic parts of the city.

By Local Transport: Use the "Ujjain Darshan" bus service if you are on a full-day tour. Otherwise, walking from the Mahakal temple is the best way to see the surrounding heritage.
