Harsiddhi Temple is one of the most revered Shaktipeeths in India, where it is believed that the elbow of Goddess Sati fell. Located near the peaceful Shipra River, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Harsiddhi, a form of Durga. The temple holds a unique position in Ujjain’s spiritual landscape, as it was the favorite place of worship for the legendary King Vikramaditya. The central idol is painted in a striking vermilion color and is flanked by the idols of Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.
