Devotees believe that the goddess stays on the hill only during the day and leaves at night. No one is allowed to stay on the hill after the evening Aarti. How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Rajkot International Airport, about 50 KMS away. From there, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Chotila. The airport has good connectivity with major Indian cities.

By Train: Rajkot Junction and Surendranagar are the nearest major railway stations. Both are about 50-60 KMS away. Frequent buses and taxis operate from these stations to the town.

By Road: Chotila is located on the Ahmedabad-Rajkot Highway. It is well-connected by GSRTC buses from all major towns in Saurashtra. Private car travel is very convenient due to the excellent road conditions.

By Local Transport: Within the town, auto-rickshaws are the most common mode of transport. The town is small enough to explore on foot once you reach the base of the hill. Shared rickshaws are also available for nearby villages.
