Winter Season: October to February is the ideal time as the weather is cool and pleasant. The climb up the hill is much easier during these months. This is also the time for the main Navratri festival.
Summer Season: March to June can be very hot, making the climb difficult during midday. If visiting in summer, it is best to climb before 8:00 AM or after 5:00 PM. The dry heat can be taxing for the elderly.
Monsoon Season: July to September makes the hill look green and beautiful. The weather becomes cooler, but the steps can be slippery. It is a refreshing time to visit if you enjoy the rains.
