The distance is approximately 110 KMS from Haflong town. Silchar Airport has regular flights connecting it to major Indian cities like Guwahati and Kolkata. From Silchar, you must hire a private taxi (a journey of about 4-5 hours) or take a shared vehicle to reach Haflong. A more practical, though longer, route is via Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) in Guwahati (about 310 KMS away), which is better connected. From Guwahati, you can opt for the scenic train or a long-distance bus/taxi. By Train (The Most Scenic Route) Haflong is well-connected by the scenic Lumding–Silchar railway line.
