By Air: Fly to Silchar (80 KM) or Guwahati (320 KM); Maibong is more accessible from the Silchar side but well-connected by road from Haflong.

By Train: Maibong Railway Station is a significant stop on the Lumding-Silchar hill section; the train journey offers spectacular views of the hills.

By Road: It is about a 1. 5 to 2-hour drive from Haflong town via a well-maintained highway that offers beautiful views of the valley.

By Local Transport: Shared taxis and buses are available from the Haflong main stand; within Maibong, cycle-rickshaws and walking are the best ways to explore.
