By Air: Fly to Kolkata (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport) and then take a bus or car for the 185 km journey.
By Train: Take a train from Howrah to Digha Flag Station. From Digha, you can hire a private taxi, an auto-rickshaw, or a Toto to reach Shankarpur in about 20 minutes.
By Road: Regular buses from Kolkata (Esplanade/Dharamtala) going toward Digha will drop you at the Shankarpur crossing on the Digha-Contai Road, from where the beach is a short rickshaw ride away.
By Local Transport: Totos and cycle rickshaws are easily available for local movement.
