By Local Transport and Walking: Shared taxis that run between Champhai and nearby villages often pass through Tlangsam. You can hop on one for a nominal fare of 20 to 30 Rupees. For those who enjoy a bit of exercise, it is a pleasant uphill walk from the southern end of Champhai town, taking about 45 minutes to an hour while enjoying the views.
