Traditional and Modern Architecture: The buildings in Tlangsam are a mix of traditional Mizo huts made of bamboo and wood, and newer concrete structures painted in bright colors. A typical traditional house measures about 20 by 30 feet and is elevated on stilts to adapt to the hilly terrain and heavy rainfall.
Paragliding Launch Sites: There are specifically designated flat areas on the highest ridges, measuring approximately 50 by 100 meters, which are cleared of vegetation to serve as take-off points for paragliders. These sites are engineered to utilize the natural wind currents flowing from the valley. -

By Air and Private Vehicle: Fly into Lengpui Airport in Aizawl and then travel by road to Champhai. Since Tlangsam is only 5 KMS away from the main town, it is very easy to reach. You can hire a local taxi from the Champhai market for about 200 to 300 Rupees for a one-way... -
