Lamsial Puk
Lamsial Puk, also known as the Cave of Skeletons, is one of the most haunting and historically significant sites in Mizoram. Located on a steep cliffside, this small cave gained notoriety when a massive collection of human remains was discovered inside. The skeletons are believed to be those of war riors who died in a brutal inter-village war about 300 years ago. The bones were found neatly stacked, suggesting a ritualistic or emergency burial. Even today, visitors can see fragments of these ancient remains, though many have been preserved or moved for study.
