By Air: Umroi Airport is about 40 KM away. Guwahati Airport is the major hub, located roughly 140 KM from Mawryngkneng.

By Train: Guwahati is the nearest railway station. One can take a taxi towards Jowai and stop at Mawryngkneng along the way.

By Road: It is located on the NH 44, about 25 KM from Shillong. The drive is smooth and takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour from the capital.

By Local Transport: Shared taxis from Shillong to Jowai or Khliehriat always pass through here. You can easily get down and find another vehicle later.
