Best Time Heading Monsoon Season: From June to August is the best time to see the waterfalls in their full glory. The "rainy" experience is what Sohra is famous for. Be prepared with heavy-duty rain gear and expect some views to be blocked by clouds.

Best Time Heading Post-Monsoon/Winter: From September to February, the skies clear up and the views of the valleys are spectacular. The water in the pools turns a deep turquoise blue. It is the best time for trekking to the root bridges and caving.

Best Time Heading Summer Season: From March to May, the weather is pleasant and ideal for outdoor activities. The heat is never extreme due to the high altitude. It is a good time for those who want to avoid both the heavy rains and the winter chill.
