Bandhavgarh National Park

Satna, Madhya Pradesh, India
Wildlife Sanctuary: Bandhavgarh National Park is world-renowned for having the highest density of Royal Bengal Tigers in India. Spanning over a core area of 716 square kilometers, it was once the private hunting ground for the Maharajas of Rewa. The park is divided into several zones, with Tala, Mag adhi, and Khitauli being the most popular for sightings. Apart from tigers, the park is home to leopards, sloth bears, and over 250 species of birds. The landscape is a stunning mix of dense Sal forests, sprawling grasslands, and rocky hills that provide a perfect habitat for diverse fauna. It is also the place where the first white tiger, Mohan, was found, adding to its historical and biological fame.
