take
a
3-hour
taxi
ride
to
Ukhrul
town;
from
Ukhrul,
Khangkhui
is
another
16
KMS
by
local
jeep.
By
Train:
The
nearest
station
is
Dimapur;
from
there,
it's
a
long
7-8
hour
drive
to
Ukhrul
via
Imphal.
By
Road:
From
Moreh,
it
is
a
long
journey
of
about
6-7
hours
through
hilly
terrain;
it
is
best
to
stay
overnight
in
Ukhrul
town.
By
Local
Transport:
Shared
jeeps
and
private
sumos
are
the
only
reliable
way
to
navigate
the
steep
and
sometimes
unpaved
roads
leading
to
the
cave.
