By Air: The nearest international and major airport is Tiruchirappalli International Airport (TRZ), approximately 150 KMS from Karaikal. Visitors from other states or countries should fly to TRZ and then take an airport taxi or an intercity bus to the Karaikal Bus Stand. The road journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. The smaller Pondicherry Airport (PNY, 130 KMS) is an alternative but has limited flight options.

By Train: The Karaikal Railway Station (KIK) is the closest railway station, located about 2. 5 KMS from the Sri Parvatheeswaraswamy Temple. The station has good connectivity to major rail hubs in South India. From KIK, the temple, situated on the Thirunallar road near the Karaikal Bus Stand, is easily accessible by a short auto-rickshaw ride or a local taxi.

By Road: Karaikal boasts good road connectivity to surrounding towns and cities. Regular state transport buses and private coaches operate from cities like Thanjavur (100 KMS), Chidambaram (67 KMS), and Pondicherry (130 KMS) to the Karaikal Bus Stand. Since the temple is located near the bus stand in Karaikoilpathu on the Thirunallar road, a short walk or a minimum fare auto-rickshaw ride will cover the remaining distance.

By Local Transport: Given its proximity to the main Karaikal Bus Stand, the most convenient local transport option is the auto-rickshaw. You can easily hire one from the bus stand or any major junction in Karaikal town directly to the temple. For the short distance, a local town bus or a shared auto can also be used, offering the cheapest and fastest way to reach the temple. ()
