By Train: Satara Railway Station is 35 KMS from the town.

By Road: Wai is located right on the way to Panchgani from the Pune-Bangalore Highway (NH48).

By Local Transport: It is a major transit hub; you can find plenty of rickshaws, local buses, and private taxis connecting it to Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar.
