General Description: JCP Sadqi, also known as the Sullemani Border, is a prominent joint check post on the international border between India and Pakistan, located near Fazilka, just a short drive from Abohar. Similar to the Wagah border, this post hosts a daily "Retreat Ceremony" where the border g uards of both nations—the Border Security Force (BSF) of India and the Pakistan Rangers—perform a synchronized lowering of the national flags. This site is deeply significant for its history during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, and it serves as a place of patriotic pilgrimage for thousands of visitors. The atmosphere at JCP Sadqi is filled with patriotic fervor, with spectators chanting slogans and singing national songs.
