Accommodation: Most tourists stay in New Tehri town or nearby Kanatal. There are government guest houses near the dam site, but these usually require prior booking through the irrigation department or THDC.
Cash & Connectivity: Mobile signals are strong in this area. Cash is not specifically required for the viewpoint as entry is free, but you will need it for the nearby snack stalls. The nearest ATMs are in the New Tehri market.
