Weather And Best Time To Visit In Alchi
Weather and Best Time to Visit
Summer Season: The months from June to September are the best time to visit Alchi. During this period, the weather is warm and pleasant, and all the roads are open. The fields are green, and the apricot trees are full of fruit. It is the perfect time for exploring the monastery and the surrounding village.
Spring Season: April and May are also great for seeing the apricot blossoms in the valley. The weather is still a bit chilly, but the sight of the flowers is breathtaking. It is a quieter time to visit before the peak tourist season begins in June. You can enjoy the beauty of the region without the large crowds of the summer months.
Different Parts of the Day: Early morning is the best time to visit the monastery for a spiritual experience. The light is soft, and the temperature is cool for walking around. Late afternoon is great for photography of the village and the river. Avoid the midday sun as it can be quite harsh at this high altitude, even in the summer.
