Weather And Best Time To Visit In Lukung
Weather and Best Time to Visit
Summer Months: June to September is the peak season when the lake is completely liquid and vibrant blue. The roads are open, and all camping facilities are fully operational, providing the most comfortable experience for regular tourists and families.
Winter Season: From January to March, the lake freezes completely, allowing people to walk on the thick ice. It is a time for extreme adventure and the Chadar-style experience, but temperatures are brutally cold and most facilities are closed for the season.
Shoulder Season: May and October offer a quieter experience with fewer crowds and lower prices. However, the weather is unpredictable, and there is a high chance of the Chang La Pass being blocked by sudden unseasonal snowfall or heavy ice.
