Boating Point
The Boating Point (Pochampadu) is located at the majestic Sri Ram Sagar Project (SRSP), one of the largest irrigation projects in Telangana. Although it is about an hour's drive from Bodhan, it serves as a major regional attraction for those seeking water sports and scenic views. The boating point is situated on the vast backwaters of the Godavari River, where the government and private operators provide various vessel types for tourists. As you glide over the deep blue waters, you get a sense of the immense scale of the dam, which provides water to millions of acres of farmland. The area around the boating point is developed with parks, viewpoints, and small eateries.
