Chabimura View Point

Teliamura, Tripura, India
Chabimura, also known as Devtamura, is famous for its massive rock-cut sculptures on the banks of the Gomati river. The view point offers a spectacular vista of the river winding through steep hills covered in impenetrable jungle. The site is often called the "Amazon of Tripura" due to its dense gr eenery and the boat journey required to see the carvings. The most iconic sculpture is that of Goddess Durga (locally Chakrakma), which stands tall on the vertical cliff face. Visitors must take a boat ride to appreciate the scale and artistry of these ancient carvings. The area is a mix of archaeological mystery and natural splendor. It is a place where history and nature converge, offering a sense of adventure to every traveler. The silence of the river is only broken by the sound of the boat's motor and the calls of wild birds.
