Overview of the Roosting Site: The Amur Falcon Roosting Site near the Doyang Hydro Project is a spectacular natural phenomenon where millions of migratory raptors arrive every year. The site is located in the Wokha district, primarily around the village of Pangti. By Air: Fly to Dimapur Airport (160 Kms) or Jorhat Airport (130 Kms) and hire a private SUV.
By Train: Reach Mariani Junction in Assam (110 Kms) and take a shared Sumo to Wokha.
By Road: From Ungma, drive via Mokokchung-Wokha Highway; the road is winding but scenic.
By Local Transport: Shared taxis (Sumos) are available from Mokokchung town to Wokha, then hire a local cab to Pangti.
