How to Reach

By Air: The Srinagar Airport is the closest, and from there it is a 1. 5-hour drive to Anantnag via the National Highway 44. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal for a fixed rate.

By Train: The Anantnag Railway Station connects the city to Srinagar and Banihal, making it very accessible. The train journey offers a scenic view of the mustard fields and mountains of south Kashmir.

By Road: It is located on the main NH44 highway connecting Jammu and Srinagar. Regular bus services and shared taxis ply from all major towns in the valley, making it one of the easiest places to reach.

Local Transport: Within the city, auto-rickshaws and local buses are the main modes of transport. For nearby attractions like Pahalgam, one can hire a private Sumo or Tavera for a more comfortable day trip.
