By Train: The nearest major railway station is Kathgodam Railway Station (KGM), which is about 140 km away. Kathgodam is well-connected to major Indian cities like Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata. From Kathgodam, taxis and shared jeeps are easily available for the scenic 4-5 hour mountain drive to Kausani.
By Road: Kausani is well-connected by road to major cities in Uttarakhand and Northern India. Regular state-run and private buses (KMVN buses) ply between Delhi (ISBT Anand Vihar), Nainital, Almora, and Haldwani to Kausani. Driving your own vehicle is also possible via well-maintained mountain roads.
By Local Transport: The Ashram is only about 500 meters from the main Kausani bus stand and market. It is easily accessible by a short 10-15 minute walk, local taxi, or auto-rickshaw from the town center.
