How to Reach

By Air: Fly to Agatti Airport, then take a ship/boat to Amini Jetty. From the jetty, hire a local auto-rickshaw or a bicycle to travel the 1. 8 KMS to the east coast. The route often involves walking the final stretch.

By Sea: Disembark at Amini Jetty. The journey requires traversing the main village settlement and crossing the island's interior to reach the windward side.

By Train: Nearest railhead is in Kerala (Kochi/Ernakulam). Then, travel by road to Kochi Port for the ship voyage to Amini.

By Local Transport: The best way to reach this more remote side is by bicycle rental or a brisk walk through the scenic Coconut groves, which span the island's narrow width. Local auto-rickshaws may take you close, but the final, unpaved track is best covered on foot. The lack of commercial activity means fewer vehicles travel this route.
