By Train: Batala Junction Railway Station (BAT) is the closest station (~1 KM). From BAT, the Hathi Gate area in the old city is easily reachable by a very short ride on a cycle-rickshaw or an e-rickshaw. The fare should be minimal.
By Road: Frequent bus services are available to the Batala Bus Stand from nearby cities. From the bus stand, the gate area is a convenient ride away. The gate is located deep within the old city's congested lanes.
By Local Transport: The best way to reach the gate area is by local auto-rickshaw or a shared e-rickshaw. Given the narrowness of the street, they are the most practical option. Be prepared to walk a short distance from where the rickshaw drops you.
