By Train: The nearest major railway station is Salem Junction (SA), approximately 35 km from Yercaud town. Salem Junction is well-connected to major Indian cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore. From the station, hire a private taxi or use local state transport buses to reach Yercaud Bus Stand, and then take a local taxi or shared jeep for the final 12 km to Karadiyur village.
By Road: Yercaud is excellently connected by road. A beautiful drive leads from Salem to Yercaud via the famous 20 hairpin bends. From Yercaud town, Karadiyur View Point is about 12 km away. The route is accessible by car or bike, but the last 1 km stretch to the point is an unpaved road requiring a short trek. State-run buses and private buses connect Salem and Yercaud.
By Local Transport: From Yercaud town, local taxis, private cabs, or shared jeeps (often found near the Yercaud Lake or Bus Stand) are the best option for the 12 km distance. Negotiate the fare beforehand, as the last stretch is slightly remote.
