By Train: The nearest major railhead is Salem Junction (SA), about 35 km away. From Salem, hire a local taxi or take a state-run bus to the Yercaud Bus Stand.
By Road: Yercaud is easily reached by road via the 20 hairpin bends from Salem. Kiliyur Falls is located just 3-4 km from the Yercaud Lake and town center. Drive or hire a local taxi/auto to the parking lot, and then begin the 500-meter trek and descent. The trek must be done on foot as no vehicles can reach the base.
By Local Transport: A local auto-rickshaw or taxi can take you from Yercaud town center to the point where the trek begins. Always negotiate the fare before starting the journey. The final part requires physical effort.
