By Air: The nearest major airports are Mumbai (BOM) and Pune (PNQ), both approximately 120 Kms away. The best option is to hire a dedicated pre-booked cab that can take you directly to the rafting start point near the Bhira or Rawalje village, which is about a 3. 5 to 4-hour drive.

By Train: The nearest station is Kolad Railway Station (KOL), about 24 Kms from the start point. From Mumbai, take a Konkan Railway route train. From Pune, the train route is more complex, making a bus or car preferable. From KOL, hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to the reporting location; pre-booking this transport is wise.

By Road: The fastest and most convenient way is to self-drive or hire a taxi from Mumbai or Pune via the Mumbai-Goa Highway (NH-66). The drive is approximately 3. 5 hours. The road network is generally good, but the final approach to the river point is on narrow, rural roads. Precise Google Maps navigation is essential.

By Local Transport: Within the Kolad area, local jeeps and auto-rickshaws are available. Crucially, the transport needed to get from the rafting End Point back to your vehicle at the Start Point must be pre-arranged with a local driver; this shuttle is a mandatory cost and is generally not included in the rafting package price.
