How to Reach
By Train: Nearest major station is Jammu Tawi (JAT). Road journey from here is long and complex. Better to fly to Leh.
By Road: Drive from Padum (40-50 KM) on the NPD road towards Purney/Cha Village. This drive takes approximately 1. 5-2 hours depending on road conditions. Shared taxis or private hired jeeps are the main option from Padum.
By Local Transport/Trek: It is the final point for vehicles. The journey to Phugtal begins here on foot.
