How to Reach
By Train: The Dimapur Railway Station is around 9 KM away. It is advisable to hire a private taxi or a direct auto-rickshaw to the forest, as local share-taxis might not go directly to the gate. The journey takes about 25 minutes.
By Road: The forest is situated slightly off the main road network near the Rangapahar area but is easily reachable from Dimapur city via well-paved roads. State and local bus services run close to the general area, from where a local auto-rickshaw can complete the last leg of the journey.
By Local Transport: A dedicated auto-rickshaw or taxi is the most practical way to reach the forest gate, as public transport drops you a considerable distance away. Negotiate a return fare with the driver, or arrange a pick-up time, as finding a return vehicle at the forest gate can be challenging.
