By Air: Pantnagar Airport is the nearest at 65 KMS. Private taxis charge around Rs.2,000 to Rs.3,000 for the trip.

By Train: Kathgodam is the nearest station (33 KMS). You can take a shared taxi from the station to Bhowali and then another to Sattal.

By Road: From Kashipur, follow the route to Haldwani, then take the climb to Bhimtal and follow the diversion for Sattal.

By Local Transport: Private taxis are the best way to reach the secluded lakes, as local buses only drop you at the main highway junction.
