How To Reach Umlawan Cave

Umlawan Cave is part of the legendary Kotsati-Umlawan cave system, which was long considered the longest cave in the Indian subcontinent. By Air: Fly to Guwahati or Shillong and hire a taxi for the long drive to Lumshnong.

By Train: Guwahati is the nearest rail connection; a 6-hour drive follows.

By Road: Located on NH-6, the road is well-traveled by trucks and buses going towards Silchar.

By Local Transport: Private cabs are the most reliable way to reach Lumshnong from Jowai town center.
