Jhirjhiri Waterfall
Jhirjhiri Waterfall is a hidden treasure located in the remote Bano block of Simdega. The name "Jhirjhiri" mimics the sound of the water trickling and falling over layered rock formations. Unlike the massive falls of Ranchi, this waterfall is prized for its delicate beauty and the pristine nature o f its surroundings. It is fed by a perennial stream that originates in the dense forests of the plateau. The water drops over several tiers, creating small natural pools at each level where visitors can dip their feet.
