Mazar-e-Noorani
Mazar-e-Noorani is a magnificent mausoleum and a key pilgrimage site for the Dawoodi Bohra community. It is the final resting place of Sayedna Noor Mohammed Nooruddin, the 37th Dai-al-Mutlaq. He passed away in 1718 CE in Mandvi, and the current structure was inaugurated in 1999 by the 52nd Dai. The shrine is set within a sprawling 10-acre complex that exudes peace and spirituality. Approximately 75% of the area is covered with lush, well-manicured gardens. The atmosphere here is one of deep devotion and silence, making it a perfect place for meditation. It is often referred to as a "Garden of Eden" in religious texts. The complex includes a large guesthouse for visiting pilgrims with modern amenities. The white marble used in the construction gives it a heavenly glow under the sun. It is a symbol of the rich Islamic heritage and the community's dedication. Visitors are expected to maintain silence and respect the religious protocols of the site.
