Monkey Point
Mythological Significance::Monkey Point, or Manki Point, is the highest altitude point in Kasauli, famous for the small temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Legend states that while carrying the Sanjivani Booti, Lord Hanuman's foot touched this hill, giving the peak its foot-like shape. Being an Air Fo rce Station property, access is strictly regulated, but it offers unparalleled panoramic views. From the top, visitors can see the plains of Chandigarh, the winding Sutlej River, and the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Choor Chandni mountain range, making the trek and security checks worthwhile for the breathtaking vista.
