It is a high-altitude, desolate snowscape where the road ends—hence the name 'Zero Point.' The landscape is characterized by rolling hills, high peaks, and three rivers/streams converging, all covered in pristine, perennial snow. @@Perennial Snow Cover: It is one of the highest points accessible to tourists in Sikkim, and due to its altitude, it is covered in snow for almost 9-10 months of the year, making it a guaranteed snow experience for visitors. The temperature is often sub-zero, even in summer. @@Source of the Teesta Tributaries: The spot is believed to be where three streams meet to form a major tributary of the Teesta River.
