Wind Surfing Point

Kadmat, Lakshadweep, India
Harnessing the Lagoon Breeze: Kadmat Island's wide, shallow, and protected western lagoon creates one of the best and safest environments for windsurfing in India. The calm water inside the reef ensures no large waves, making it ideal for learning and practicing the sport, while the consistent sea b reeze provides the perfect propulsion. The location is utilized by the Water Sports Center for lessons and equipment rental, drawing both absolute beginners and intermediate enthusiasts. Learning the Ropes: The expansive water area allows beginners plenty of space to fall and practice without drifting into crowded areas, and the shallow depth means they can easily stand up. The center offers beginner boards and sails, as well as more advanced equipment. The feeling of gliding across the clear turquoise water with the tropical breeze in your sail is one of the island's premier non-motorized thrills. The point is generally the farthest area of the lagoon the Water Sports Center uses, providing ample space.
