Ziegenbalg House
Ziegenbalg House was the residence of Bartholomäus Ziegenbalg, the first Protestant missionary to India who arrived in 1706. The house is now a well-maintained museum that chronicles the history of the Danish-Halle Mission. It is a site of immense cultural importance as it houses the first Tamil Pr inting Press. Visitors can see ancient manuscripts, the first translated Tamil Bible, and colonial-era furniture.
