By Train: The closest railhead is Pathankot Junction (PTK), 80 KM away. Take a taxi or bus from Pathankot to Dalhousie. Once in town, take a local cab or private vehicle to cover the short 4 KM distance to Bara Pathar.
By Road: Bara Pathar is located exactly on the main road from Dalhousie to Kalatop. It is easily reachable by car or taxi from anywhere in Dalhousie town. Public buses heading towards Khajjiar via Kalatop will pass through or near this point.
By Local Transport: A local taxi is the most convenient way. It is a very short, scenic ride from Gandhi Chowk or Subhash Chowk in Dalhousie, taking about 15-20 minutes. You can also cover the distance on foot for a short trek.
