Traditional Dravidian Style : The temple features a majestic Gopuram adorned with intricate carvings of various deities and mythological scenes. The main sanctum is built into a natural rock formation, preserving the 'Swayambhoo' (self-manifested) nature of the idol. The temple dimensions include a large courtyard that can hold thousands of people, and the hill itself rises to an elevation of about 200 meters above sea level. The renovation by Krishna Rao Deshmukh about 160 years ago added stone pillars and mandapams that still stand today. -
