Longleng Local Ground
The Longleng Local Ground is the primary social and cultural arena of the town. This large open space is where the heart of the Phom tribe beats during major events. It serves as the venue for the famous Monyu festival, which is celebrated in April to mark the end of winter and the beginning of the sowing season. During this time, the ground is filled with men and women in vibrant traditional attire, performing folk dances and chanting ancient songs.
