M.A.K. Waterfall

Chabimura, Tripura, India
Natural Wonder: The M.A.K. Waterfall is a seasonal gem tucked away in the crevices of the Devtamura hills, accessible only by boat followed by a short trek. It is named after a local explorer who popularized the route. The water falls from a significant height, creating a mist that keeps the surroun ding rocks perpetually mossy and green. The trek to the falls involves navigating through narrow rocky passages where the sunlight barely reaches. It feels like entering a different world, far removed from the tropical heat. During the monsoon, the waterfall is thunderous and powerful, but even in winter, it maintains a gentle, rhythmic flow. The base of the fall has a small pool where visitors can dip their feet in the icy cold water. The surrounding cliffs are often covered with wild ferns and hanging vines. It is a site of pure, untouched nature. Most boat tours include a stop here as part of the "Amazon" experience. It is a must-visit for anyone who loves the sound of falling water.
