Darbar Ganj is a significant heritage building in Faridkot, originally constructed during the princely state era to serve as an accommodation/guest house for royal visitors, foreign dignitaries, and guests from other sister states. Its name translates to Royal Court Treasury or Guest House, reflecti ng its high status. It is a striking example of Gothic Revival architecture, situated amidst a large, well-maintained garden, enhancing its regal charm. Today, the building serves a dual purpose: it operates as the official Circuit House (a government guest house) and also houses the office of the Commissioner of the Faridkot Division.
